Highlander are one of the first IT and Telecoms Solutions providers in South Yorkshire to offer services via Digital Region Broadband South Yorkshire. The aim of the project is for businesses and residential users to have super-fast internet connectivity, which is in many instances, significantly cheaper than traditional connections that have been available over the past 10 years.
What is Digital Region Broadband?
In a nutshell, the Digital Region Broadband initiative for South Yorkshire provides a backbone for high speed internet connectivity. This backbone is the vehicle in which Internet Service Providers (ISPs) connect.
How fast and how much does it cost?
The beauty of the network design means there are a number of packages available for organisations of different sizes to take advantage of. Starting from basic connections providing 40MB download speeds for £39.95, to synchronous connections over fibre, Highlander can offer the best solution to fit each client. We'll work through the options with you and design it based on our understanding of your network. The costs for the service are extremely competitive when compared against existing connections, so there is a potential for some immediate cost savings for the connections.
